'Unknown Pleasures' - Joy Division, 1979. Design by Peter Saville. Radio waves as a representation of the music. Bit cold-feudal-analytical idea, you might say, and you might wonder to what extent this fits the emotions the music produces. Still, it produces an iconic image. Perhaps because the lines are hand-drawn, they have something moving, poetic, like the works of Jan Schoonhoven. Not everything is explainable.
